‘Survivor Caramoan: Fans vs. Favorites’ preview: Is there a swap happening?

Ever since the end of Wednesday night’s new episode of “Survivor Caramoan: Fans vs. Favorites,” there has been a question on the lips of many fans: are we about to see a tribal swap? This happened the first time there was a “Fans vs. Favorites” season, and as interesting as the dynamics are on the present tribes, it is always interesting to see things switched around a little bit so that there are different people working together, and it makes people who were once comfortable into people who are forced into working on the fly.

While there is not a great deal of video identification as to who are going to be on the new tribes, the official tease from CBS below more or less confirms that we are going to be seeing a swap coming up next week:

“A shake-up with the Tribes creates chaos and new alliances. Meanwhile, the game is thrown off-balance when one Tribe’s change results in a strength disparity between Gota and Bikal.”

We are a little curious already as to how the tribes were chosen this time around, mostly because we are worried based on the tease that it was a way similar to “Survivor: One World,” which is not going to win any awards when it comes to making an exciting game. If one tribe is obviously weaker than the other, it is going to lead to some very predictable gameplay. We much prefer it when it is either a schoolyard pick, or when the players have to rank each other and then the tribes are picked based on averages. (Plus, that creates more drama for the people picked last.)
