Love Island USA season 8 episode 27: Why Caleb, Jaiden, Jen were dumped
Heading into tonight’s Love Island USA season 8 episode 27, we definitely braced for the biggest dumping of the season. The writing, after all, was very-much on the wall here for Jen, as she had no real romantic connection in the villa. The reasoning for her departure was simple, but what about everyone else?
We wish that there was a lot more drama beyond what we actually got with the exits of some of these people. With Amora & Gal, we’re looking at two people who literally just got together! They were a couple for all of about ten seconds, and it was a reminder that with this particular twist, arriving so late is a severe disadvantage.

As for Caleb & Jaiden, we are looking at a situation where the former was actually in the villa for a good chunk of time. He had an opportunity to find love on multiple occasions, but fell victim to a number of things including bad luck and also just not having the right chemistry with the right person. It can be easy to just say that he was too young, but we do not honestly think that anything is that simple here. There’s a difference between age and life experience, and we’re not sure that he really had that. We do think he came off really well throughout most of the show and with that, he will likely have no problem finding a good connection on the outside world.
So in the end, tonight we lost two bombshells and then a trio of Casa Amor people. All of the remaining original cast members are still there, and we do think that many of them could be there close to the end. (Really, though, it does feel like Trinity & Bryce’s season to win.)
