Justin Timberlake, Jimmy Fallon present ‘History of Rap 4’ (video)
The moment that you heard that Justin Timberlake was going to be performing all week long on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,” you knew that this was coming. The “History of Rap” has been an enormous hit the past three times that the late-night host and the “Suit & Tie” singer have done it, and of course it was again the fourth time that they pulled it off this week.
The real question that we have at this point is rather simple: just how long does it take to actually rehearse all of this? In between the lyrics, the dance moves, and the overall vibe of the performance with The Roots, this is one of the more complicated things that Fallon has pulled off on the show. Luckily, it also happens to be supremely entertaining. (Code: You’re going to watch this more than once.)
Just in case you were extremely interested in knowing every single song that is featured in this new version of the rap montage, NBC was kind enough to send over the full list along with the years in which these songs were composed. Enjoy!
