‘Unforgettable’ season 2 spoilers: ‘The Walking Dead’ season 3 star checks in
Ever since the news was first announced that CBS was going to be giving “Unforgettable” another chance on the air with new episodes airing this summer, it has been a long and painful wait for the show’s fans when it comes to trying to figure out just what is going to happen next. While we don’t have much for you now in the way of story hints, we do have something else that is rather exciting: news on who will be joining the show very soon.
Multiple sources have confirmed that Dallas Roberts, who plays Milton on the current third season of “The Walking Dead,” has joined the Poppy Montgomery drama in the role of Eliot, a detective who leads the major cases diivision who is eager to advance, but also wants to do everything in his power to improve the unit and bring good conversation and publicity to the department.
It will be interesting to see just how well this show fares when it comes on later this year, as “Unforgettable” was a show that delivered strong viewership, but struggled to obtain many eyeballs in the all-important 18-49 demographic. With it being summer, we already worry just how many of these people are going to opt to spend more of their time outside than they are sitting indoors watching TV. Plus, it will need to have a superb promotional department to even help people remember that it is still on the air to begin with.
What do you think about this news, and do you believe that “Unforgettable” will be significantly better off thanks to this addition? Be sure to share some of your thoughts below, and you can also read some more news on how Glen Mazzara is moving on from “The Walking Dead” over at the link here.
