‘Big Brother Canada’ live feed spoilers: The Liza debate begins
We are now seeing some of the first minutes of Emmett’s reign as Head of Household in the “Big Brother Canada” house, and it is already clear in some ways that there will be a major debate raging for pretty much all week long: what in the world to do about Liza?
Here is really the dilemma with Emmett in power: he knows that Tom is getting close to her, and he also knows that she is a major schemer who is trying to manipulate and woo many of the boys into doing what she wants. Thus far in the game, it’s working pretty well for her with Tom, Andrew, and Peter all fighting for her attention. This is why Emmett wants her out; while he has Jillian at his side, the argument there is that she is hardly much of a hardcore schemer and is not really that dangerous save for an endurance challenge here or there.
At the end of the day, it’s all about guts. Suzette has of course been mentioned as a target for eviction, but more so in the event of a backdoor. Tom wants to see Talla and Gary up on the block, with his motivation being simply that neither one of them wants to take him far in the game. Emmett’s probably not going to put up Suzette, given that she’s not nearly the threat to him that she is to Tom. Therefore, we’re left more with a trifecta of Talla, Gary, and Liza as his main targets. The argument Tom is making to Emmett right now is rather awful and pretty chauvinistic: he really wants Liza to make it to jury just so he can try to sleep with her in the jury house. Ew.
There is also a chance at some point that Emmett could think about backdooring Tom, but we still see this as a longshot. He knows that Tom is a much bigger target than him, and it could benefit him to keep him around for a few more weeks until he makes it further in the game. After all, with Tom gone the pecking order in terms of threats consists of Emmett and Jillian at the top, and then possibly Alec after that.
Who do you think Emmett should put on the block? If you want to read our review for Thursday’s episode, you can do so here. Meanwhile, there are some more continuous updates that can be found below.

No chance Emmett puts up Tom, at least not yet, either directly or in a backdoor scenario. Emmett (if he’s still the HoH by the time of the noms, of course) would definitely benefit by nominating Liza and pushing Tom to vote out Liza, to see where his true loyalties lie. If Tom goes nuts trying to save Liza and either she or Emmett (or Jillian or anyone else loyal to Emmett) wins POV, take down Liza and backdoor Tom. If he is fine with Liza’s nomination, either she can go (although I hope not, I like her and want her and Peter to hook up) or Gary can get backdoored. The HoH isn’t a waste, and Emmett finds out if Tom is more loyal to the Quattro or to his dong.

I never understood the whole make a deal to take one of your own nominations off the block thing. Those people will agree to anything to get off the block and they are not going to forget you put them in danger, even if you were the pawn. Has anyone ever displayed any semblance of loyalty after this sham of a deal? No. Better move is to strike a deal prior to winning HOH because then its a deal by mutual agreement, not a power move.

Why would he put up useless people? I think the smartest thing would be to start getting the stragglers with no alliance to make deals with him. He would be smart to put up AJ and Andrew, then make a deal to take one off and ultimately get rid of Suzette. Having AJ and Andrew in your back pocket when you need someone big out of the game is good strategy
