‘Once Upon a Time’ season 2, episode 17 preview: Regina makes her move

Lana ParrillaWe understand that the Evil Queen on “Once Upon a Time” has a reason to feel vengeful at the moment, but how many of you out there feel after watching the sneak peek below for Sunday night’s “Welcome to Storybrooke” that she also may be just a tad delusional? We don’t know how else we can really explain the fact that she has no problem committing unspeakable acts on other people, but then for whatever reason gets completely bent out of shape whenever these same bad things happen to her.

Basically, we can sum up the video below in very simple terms: she wants Snow White dead in a pretty bad way. Even though Rumpelstiltskin is in many ways the one who put her up to it in order to keep the dagger and preserve his own life as the Dark One, our Queen knows that there is no way to deal with but. But Mary Margaret is mortal, vulnerable, and has a moral compass distorted enough now that she will probably never make another move against anyone again.

In a way, we do feel for Regina given that at this point, she’s probably gone through more than many of the characters combined. She had a horrible mom, a terrible marriage, and the only person she really loved died twice. But is taking out that rage really going to make you feel any better? The other interesting thing about this clip below is that not once is the name “Henry” uttered, and that certainly cannot be a good thing right now in terms of where his head is at.
