‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’: Phaedra Parks, Kenya Moore’s workout DVD’s hit the market

Kenya MooreThis season of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” has mostly revolved around Phaedra Parks and Kenya Moore’s battle over their workout DVD’s and now finally they are on the market and ready for purchase.

Here’s how the story goes – Phaedra wanted to make a workout video with her husband Apollo called “Donkey Booty” and because Kenya has some experience with film, she decided to help them.  Kenya not only got together a production budget and organized all the finer details for Phaedra and Apollo, but she also brought them a distribution deal.  It seemed that there was a major miscommunication about whether or not Kenya was going to be paid for her work on this project or not, because when she asked for a small back end from the sales of the DVD, Phaedra said no and Kenya felt that meant that she wasn’t going to be paid for her work at all.

Kenya then took the budget and her distribution deal and walked away from Phaedra, deciding to make her own workout DVD called “Stallion Booty”, saying that she shouldn’t let a distribution deal like this go to waste for nothing.  Phaedra was upset because she felt that not only was Kenya stealing her idea, but was also infringing on her DVD title. For the rest of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” season 5, Kenya and Phaedra have been taking jabs at each other and making the rest of the cast very uncomfortable at events.  On last week’s episode Kenya finally decided to have it out with Phaedra once and for all during a girls weekend away in Las Vegas, but neither woman felt that they should apologize for their part in the fight and it ended up going no where.

Now both workout videos have been released and neither of them are named what the ladies originally said they would be named (“Donkey Booty” and “Stallion Booty”). Phaedra and Apollo’s two DVD’s are called “Phine Body” and each 60 minute video is being sold for $12.95 each, where as Kenya Moore called her DVD “Booty Boot Camp” (not the most original title ever) and includes three 20 minute workouts, selling for $16.99.

Who’s workout DVD are you more interested in buying, or do you feel that neither of the ladies are really qualified to be giving workout instructions since they aren’t trainers?  Leave us a comment and tell us what you think.
