‘Justified’ season 4, episode 9 spoilers: Meet Drew Thompson

Season 4 of “Justified” has been one of the best seasons so far and it’s likely because the masterminds behind the series decided not to throw some big bad into the mix this time and just focus on the characters and their relationships with each other – something that very few shows do, but we’d like to see more of.

Outside of the character development, the one mystery that has been threaded through out the season has been the mystery bag found in Arlo’s wall (RIP Arlo, we miss you already).  The hunt for Drew Thompson has really started to heat up as Raylan, Boyd, Wynn and Theo are all racing to the finish line to find out who he is and what’s really going on with him.  So who is ultimately going to find Drew Thompson first?  That remains to be seen, but we have our suspicions of who it is – either Lee (played by Sam Anderson “Lost” veteran) or ex-sheriff Hunter.  Ex-sheriff Hunter’s reaction to Raylan’s information about Arlo giving up Drew Thompson’s identity was a little extreme, leading us to think that he could be our guy, while Lee and his gang of rich players seem to be hiding some big secret of their own and Boyd has his suspicions that Drew would be well off.

One thing we know for sure is that we are finally going to meet Drew Thompson on Tuesday’s episode of “Justified” season 4 called “The Hatchet Tour”. Executive Producer, Graham Yost, told Zap2it that not only will viewers finally learn the true identity of Drew Thompson, but that a character from earlier this season will be back in the mix to stir the pot and make things more difficult then they already are.
