FX’s ‘The Americans’ spoilers: Will Stan fall for his KBG informant?
Things on “The Americans” are starting to really heat up now that we’ve gotten deeper into the season and have fallen in love with Elizabeth and Philip. The spy game is a lot of fun on the series, but what we are really invested in now are Elizabeth and Philip’s marriage and how it is actually developing from a KGB partnership into real love and companionship.
On the next new episode of “The Americans” we will see their marriage hit a fairly heavy obstacle as Elizabeth gets beaten by a target while having some bedroom time with him. Because of Elizabeth’s past, Philip’s emotions about the situation are even more heighten then they normally would be and even though Elizabeth begs him to leave the situation alone so they don’t blow the mission, Philip’s protective nature and love for Elizabeth over comes all reason.
We will also see Stan having trouble with his mole in the KGB as people in her organization start to suspect that she is a double agent. We have seen that Stan is having problems in his marriage and he has seemed to have developed a bit of a relationship with his mole – will this go anywhere? Also according to Zap2it we will meet a “sinister smoker” (much like the cigarette-smoking man from “The X-Files”) that will be trying to get information out of Philip.
An all new episode of “The Americans” will be airing on Wednesday, March 6th at 10 p.m. on FX – will you be watching?
