‘The Good Wife’: ‘Homeland’s’ Morena Baccarin returns before season 3 production
While there is still no 100% confirmation as to what Morena Baccarin is going to be doing with “Homeland” season 3, the lack of talk about a demotion means that Jess Brody is probably going to still be a part of the story moving forward. Before the start of production in May, however, what have some other good news courtesy of the “Firefly” alum: Baccarin will be back on “The Good Wife” later on during season 4.
The episode that will specifically feature Baccarin is the March 31 installment entitled “The Wheels of Justice,” which is also going to be featuring the return of Dylan Baker’s Colin Sweeney and Gary Cole as Kurt McVeigh. Unfortunately, the official synopsis below for the episode (the 19th of season 4) does not really give away any details at all about
“Alicia and Will go to trial unprepared when they learn that an impending Supreme Court ruling could result in Colin Sweeney being jailed for life. Also, Diane reunites with Kurt McVeigh but is forced to reevaluate the relationship.”
Could there possibly be even more for Baccarin coming up on the show? The opportunities could certainly be there, given that she would not be needed for “Homeland” until after “The Good Wife” wraps production for the season. If there is a season 5, she could even be available for some of this depending on what her shooting schedule is. (We have a hard time thinking that she will be a part of every episode, given that Nicholas Brody is in hiding and we don’t know what the government could really get out of Jess.)
