‘Arrow’ episode 16 preview: Deadshot returns!

One of the joys about a show like “Arrow” is that you have a set of villains that are already familiar to some viewers, and thus the challenge thus for you is trying to find ways to keep them alive while creating new stories by which they can appear. Thus, we have seen Oliver Queen take on the likes of China White and Deadshot before, but on Wednesday night’s new episode they will each be returning in order to enact a little something known as vengeance.

This episode is entitled “Dead to Rights,” and you can see the official synopsis for it below:

“Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Diggle (David Ramsey) learn that Deadshot (guest star Michael Rowe) is still alive and his next target is Malcom (John Barrowman). Malcom invites Tommy (Colin Donnell) to attend a benefit honoring Malcom for his work with Starling City but Tommy refuses to attend. Oliver encourages his friend to mend his relationship with his father while he can. Meanwhile, Oliver struggles to balance his new relationship with McKenna [Janina Gavankar] and his duties as Arrow.”

We do love the fact that Oliver is doing what he can in order to protect Tommy’s father, while at the same time he is not aware of the fact that this is the same man who is really set to destroy Starling City in his own unique manner. We imagine there being fireworks as soon as our hero figures this out … but as for whether or not this happens within the span of this episode, that much is unclear
