‘Jersey Shore’: Vinny Guadagnino’s spin-off gets premiere date
Now that “Jersey Shore” has gone off the air, it’s been harder and harder to keep up with our favorite cast. JWoww and Snooki were lucky enough to land their own spin off show on MTV called “Snooki & JWoww” that is now in it’s second season, so fans have been able to still get a little bit of a “Jersey Shore” fix, but the boys have fallen off the map. Where’s Ronnie, Mike, Pauly D and Vinny?
While Mike and Ronnie seem to be MIA at the moment, Pauly D has been doing what he does best – spinning records for the masses and helping party goers “beat up the beat”. So where is our favorite party boy Vinny Guadagnino in all of this? Just before MTV announced that “Jersey Shore” would be going off the air after season 6, it was rumored that Vinny would be getting his own talk show called “The Show With Vinny”, but since then we haven’t heard much else about it and thought maybe it wasn’t going to fly after all.
Much to our delight MTV has announced a premiere date for “The Show With Vinny” where fans will get a deeper look into Vinny’s life and his family as he interviews celebrities in his parents home (much like a real life “Wayne’s World”). We will see Vinny’s mom cooking for rapper Lil Wayne and of course there will be numerous appearances from Vinny’s infamous uncle Nino.
“The Show With Vinny” will be premiering on Thursday, May 9th at 10 p.m. (in the old “Jersey Shore” time slot) on MTV and we couldn’t be more excited to see what Vinny has to bring to the table when he’s not with the gang. Maybe he’ll have a guest appearance from his brother from another mother Pauly D and the bromance can continue to live on. If you haven’t had a chance to check out the trailer for Vinny’s talk show yet, you can check it out below – Will you be watching?
