‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 9, episode 16 preview: Who’s looking to go on interviews?

When your hospital is currently in a state of chaos, isn’t it acceptable that you would at least consider the possibility that you have to pack up and head elsewhere? For this reason alone, it is hard to be upset about what Chandra Wilson’s Miranda Bailey is doing in the sneak peek below for Thursday night’s new “Grey’s Anatomy” season 9 episode: she is being extremely smart, and realizing that she needs to make sure that she remains employed no matter what happens.

At the moment, the situation for Seattle Grace Mercy West is more complicated than we can really even describe in a paragraph. In order to convince the hospital that they are valuable and are the best possible buyers for the establishment, the likes of Meredith, Derek, Arizona, and more all decided to quit. This has put the remaining doctors in a terrible position, but Owen is still doing what he can in order to convince Pegasus to consider buying the place. Is this the best possible option? No, but he has to figure out something, and who knows what the millionaires without jobs at the moment are going to do?

In the end, Owen convinces Bailey to stay on for the time being, and the question that thus remains is whether or not he will be able to follow through on his plans to keep the hospital going, and to make sure that this surgeon in particular does not regret her decision at all to give the place another show to figure everything out.
