ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 2, episode 14 preview: Cyrus gets the cold shoulder

Even though ten months have passed on Thursday night’s “Scandal” season 2 episode, there are going to be a number of things that have changed. However, what may be just as remarkable is just how many things that have stayed the same … including one President Fitzgerald Grant acting as shady as ever.

Specifically, we are talking about the new sneak peek below for the episode, which features the Commander-in-Chief having a brief chat with Cyrus. The issue? For whatever reason, the president is still acting incredibly shady with his behavior, makes Cyrus feeling like he is the person hiding something rather than the other way around.

It is going to be interesting to see just where the Fitz character lands for the entire second half of the season. We know that he cut off his ties to Olivia Pope by saying that he was more interested in sticking with Mellie, but but has he really relinquished these feelings forever? For him, it is about trying to ensure that his political career doesn’t falter more so than it is trying to ensure that the woman he is married to is someone who genuinely loves him. He has become hardened in a way after at first leaning towards divorce, and the real question for us now is whether or not Olivia moving on to a new man (played by Scott Foley) is going to rekindle any of those old feelings.
