‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 6 spoilers: Who’s surprised on Valentine’s Day?

With there being just one more day until Valentine’s Day, it is as appropriate a time as any other to ask the following key question about “The Big Bang Theory”: is everyone going to finish up the holiday with a smile on their face? Well, the answer may be a little bit more complicated than just a simple yes or no.

According to a new report from TV Guide, Kaley Cuoco’s character of Penny is going to receive a rather unexpected surprise during the episode when she learns that one one of her ex-boyfriends ends up getting engaged at the same exact place where she and Leonard are having their celebratory dinner. Do you think that this is going to lead to some serious drama? Count on it, as she may realize that some other people from her past are willing to move on with their lives much faster than she is.

However, this is far from a guarantee that Penny and Leonard are going to get engaged right away. What this scene may end up doing is putting some additional questions into the character’s mind about what she is actually waiting for when it comes to the future, and this reevaluation could lead to some welcome moments of joy a little ways down the road.
