‘Justified’ season 4, episode 6 preview: First look at ‘Foot Chase’

When you first hear the title for Tuesday night’s new “Justified” season 4 episode, it’s pretty understandable that you would think that we are looking at a story almost about Boyd and Raylan running through the boonies looking for Drew Thompson. As it turns out, however, Timothy Olymphant’s character is actually going to be spending some time hunting down an actual foot.

In the first promo for this episode below, you can get a little bit of a sense of just what is going to be coming up when it comes to this mission of sorts, though it is still to be seen just how much closer Raylan actually comes to solving the case that is currently at hand. Meanwhile, it also looks like (shocker) some of Boyd’s past indiscretions are going to come back to bit him in the rear.

Are you enjoying this season? From our perspective, we’re really still not sure if “Justified” has put out finer work over the course of the past several years as a complete package. We hope that with this story, showrunners from some other hot properties out there realize that you do not necessarily need to rely on big-name guest stars or fancy gimmicks in order to make a storyline work four years in. Instead, you just find an intuitive, thrilling way to put some of the characters that you do have into situations that they haven’t quite been in before.
