‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 9 spoilers: Who’s being encouraged to leave Seattle Grace?

As you may have figured out from watching the last few episodes of “Grey’s Anatomy” season 9, Seattle Grace Mercy West in not exactly in a great place financially. The lawsuit from some of the doctors is sucking the place dry, and there is already a woman in Dr. Alana Cahill that is doing just about everything she can in order to get the place to cut costs … even to the point where the trauma center may be cut out for good.

So with all of this in mind, some doctors may actually be considering a move away from the hospital to a place where they can actually practice medicine the way in which they want to. In addition to some scoop for Alex and Jo, the upcoming February 21 episode of the show in “This is Why We Fight” promises to also ask a major question that would make perfect sense logically for any of these characters to have in their heads:

“As word of Seattle Grace’s financial trouble spreads, Catherine encourages Jackson to move to Boston, and the interns fear they might lose their jobs. Meanwhile, the doctors meet with a potential investor in a last-ditch effort to save the hospital, and Alex impresses Jo while caring for a patient.”

If Jackson does leave, it would hardly be the first time that a doctor on this show would make a move elsewhere. Meredith and Derek each thought about moving on last season, and Cristina actually did for a time before realizing that both her heart and many of her friends were back in Seattle.

How angry would you be if Jackson ends up leaving, especially since we have seen so much development over the course of this season between him and April?
