‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 9 spoilers: What ‘How I Met Your Mother’ star is appearing?

While “Grey’s Anatomy” has a tendency to make all sorts of big announcements when it comes to their casting, there is one that has somehow become a little lost in the shuffle: the appearance from an actress best known for her parts in “General Hospital” along with a lengthy arc as Nora on “How I Met Your Mother.”

That’s right, we’re talking about Nazanin Boniadi! Not much is known about the actress’ guest spot just yet on the ABC drama series, but she will be appearing in the fourteenth episode of the season airing next month entitled “The Face of Chagne.” Not only that, but her character’s name is set to be Amrita. This episode revolves around a heated competition involving many of the doctors in order to become the public face of Seattle Grace Mercy West, and the question that we have based on this photo is whether or not she is going to be playing some sort of hospital board member of a member of a legal team.

Boniadi is coming off of a recent guest spot on “Go On” as Hannah,” and will hopefully have a little bit more of an established TV presence moving forward. After all, Nora was very important in the “How I Met Your Mother” universe as one of the first women that Barney Stinson really tried to have a serious relationship after realizing what he wanted out of his life … but then he ruined it by cheating on her with Robin (who is now his fiancee).
