‘Private Practice’ series finale spoilers: Sam puts on a happy face (video)

Is Sam really that happy about seeing his ex Addison get married to Jake rather than him? Somewhere deep within him, probably not … but you have to give the guy a little bit of credit for putting on a brave face and attending the wedding as though it is perfectly fine.

In the latest sneak peek from the “Private Practice” series finale airing on Tuesday, you can see a conversation between Taye Diggs’ character and another person who he has quite the history with: Naomi, who of course living a happy life now on the east coast. It’s fair to say that this is an awkward chat, but one where we learn just how Sam is convincing himself that Addison’s wedding is really no big deal at all. Naomi also congratulates him on his new relationship with Stefanie, and believes that the two must be rather happy together.

There is of course one other obvious takeaway from this sneak peek that we probably don’t even have to mention: Addison and Jake obviously get married, so this really renders the other sneak peek concerning some jitters before the big day to be pretty much null and void. There are still some other questions left to be answered, though, concerning some of the supporting cast, but ABC and Shonda Rhimes are not being so kind as to show off all of them just yet.
