ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 2 spoilers: Who’s set to have a larger role soon?
Are we about to see some major changes unfold on “Scandal” season 2? We don’t know if we would use the word “major” to describe them, but you can anticipate a few characters getting a much greater opportunity to step into the spotlight on the show soon than they have in the past.
According to a new report from Zap2It, Columbus Short’s character of Harrison is going to be seeing a little bit more of a showcase in the second half of this season (which will officially begin after episode 13), as he has not had a feature episode at all so far in season 2. What will it contain? Most details are still murky, but anticipate there being a possible love interest.
For most second-year shows, it is a little unusual to see them separated into two separate arcs in the same sort of way in which “Scandal” is for the coming season. However, there is a fairly reasonable explanation for it: when the series was ordered by ABC last spring, it was done with 13 episodes in mind given that they were not confident enough following an abbreviated first season to give it any more than that. However, times have changed drastically since that time; not only has “Scandal” become a pretty enormous hit for the network on Thursdays, but its ratings have become closer and closer to actually measuring up to its “Grey’s Anatomy” lead-in.
As for what you can see on Thursday night’s new episode, get ready to see what happens following Fitz admitting to his wife that he wants a divorce, and how Olivia is going to handle an unexpected marriage proposal.

I agree with the ladies above. please allow this show to contiue each week and not go onff the air for several months. FITZ AND OLIVIA ARE THE BEST, KEEP THEM all on. THANK YOU.

i feel the same way as Rhonda. They dont have to be together yet, but intimate scenes between the two will keep everyone interesting and it doesnt have to be them making love. It could just be their one minute moments. Just them anytime works when they get to show love for each other. They can play with their story but they need to know that they are the reason that everyone watches and OPA fixing cases comes second!

I just love the Fitzgerald and Olivia affair please don’t let it end! She can’t possibly marry the other guy she is so in love withFitz! I know it can’t become public but he won’t be president forever! Without their affair the show will loose its popularity! Love it!

i would like to see more of Fitz and Olivia relationship come full circle Olivia needs to submit a little more to Fitz than what the writers got her doing we know Olivia and Fitz can’t be together like a normal couple but they deserve to steal a little love from one other every now and then it doesn’t have to be in every episode because with the chemistry these two have together one good love sene will keep you talking and watching over and over again for at least a whole month and i do like Abby , David Columbus ,hawk matter of fact I like the whole cast but Fitz and Olivia are my fav.
