‘The Carrie Diaries’ preview: Will Carrie and Sebastian ever get a moment alone?

The Carrie DiariesOn the series premiere of “The Carrie Diaries” we met a new Carrie Bradshaw – one that was raised only by her father instead of her mother, has a sister instead of being an only child and is way younger then she would’ve been during the time period the show was set, but despite all of these short comings with Carrie’s character the series scraped by in the ratings.  Now the real test for the show is going to be with next week’s episode: Will the viewership still stay at this level or will it drop now that people see what the show has to offer?

One of the story lines that the series is focusing on (beside her internship in New York City) is Carrie’s blossoming romance with Sebastian Kydd, the cute new guy at her school.  During the premiere episode we learned that Carrie and Sebastian met while in swim classes during the summer and although they liked each other nothing transpired between them.  Now that they are at the same school, Sebastian has made his interest in Carrie known by laying a big kiss on her, but the most popular girl in school also has her sights set on the new boy and will do just about anything to get him into her arms instead.

In a new clip from an upcoming episode of “The Carrie Diaries” called “Lie With Me”, we see that Donna’s influence and presence has left Carrie and Sebastian with very little time to spend alone together, in fact Carrie has clocked their time alone at 65 seconds.  Sebastian tells her to imagine what could happen between them if they had just a few more seconds together, but their time alone gets interrupted once again, this time by Carrie’s friends.

Will Sebastian and Carrie ever find any time alone together?  What will happen to her romance with Sebastian once she decides to move to New York full time?  Will he be her first? Be sure to check out the clip from the new episode “Lie With Me” and tell us what you think.  A new episode of “The Carrie Diaries” airs on Tuesday January 22 at 8 p.m. on the CW – will you be watching or have you already checked out?
