After hearing about this crazy “Celebrity Big Brother” spat from earlier this week, there is really one thing we have to say: we both love the idea that was behind this challenge, but at the same time it’s the most ridiculous and unfair thing that we’ve ever seen on a reality TV show.
Why? It may be us, but the Diary Room show be sacred ground. Nothing you say in there should be something that is repeated around the house to anyone else, and it should also be a place where you don’t have to worry going in that you cannot be yourself and be honest to the audience.
With that being said, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt should have known going into the DR on this occasion that there could be something fishy about “doing a blogging session” with some of the show’s fans. Why? In reality, they were just answering some of the questions written by Rylan Clark (a personal favorite from “The X Factor” UK) mixed with some of the other houseguests; and now, everyone else in the house knows how Speidi really feels about them.
Ultimately, it’s no surprise to once again see Heidi and Spencer facing off against everyone, mostly because this is the sort of attitude that they seem to crave. It’s this same sort of arrogance that they carried into “I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here” in America, acting as though they were too good for everyone else before deciding to quit. We have no problem watching Rylan tear into them, largely because we really don’t see how they should be rewarded for just acting awful with no strategy behind it other than air time.
Are you loving Heidi and Spencer on this show, or are you tired of them already? If you want to see how some of Rylan’s fellow former “X Factor” UK contestants are supporting him, you can do so over at the link here.
