‘Justified’ season 4, episode 3 preview: Raylan vs. an angry husband
Just when Raylan thought that he had a good thing going on “Justified” season 4 with Lindsey, she had to go and unleash a major revelation on him during last Tuesday’s episode: she is actually a married woman.
So how is a man like Timothy Olympant’s character going to deal with such information? There are ultimately a couple of ways to do so. For one, he is going to start sleeping with a gun in order to protect himself from any potential sneak attacks; and to go along with that, he is just going to do his best to tread as carefully as possible. This is a world in which violence is around every corner, and by the end of the hour it looks as though he is going to have a situation to deal with.
As for the storyline involving Boyd this coming week, he is once again going to have to face the revelation that the only way in which he is going to be able to force out the United Church of Bad Ethics (which is our given name for it) is if he finds a way to make them happy enough to leave … which probably means playing them a lot of money to get the competition out of town. As for whether or not he goes through with that plan, we’re betting on “no.” Boyd’s a stubborn guy, and we’re sure that he is going to find plenty of other ways to fight out this group and their cult-ish mindset.
