‘American Horror Story: Asylum’ finale spoilers: Lana in the present day (video)

American Horror Story: AsylumIs there going to be an appropriate way to wrap up this rather insane season of “American Horror Story”? Well, we’re going to find out now in just six days. The season finale entitled “Madness Ends” has the extremely ambitious challenge of trying to wrap up so many storylines that it is almost impossible to write them all out, including what happens to Kit and Sister Jude, whether the Monsignor achieves his dream, how Briarcliff ends up being shut down, and whether or not the new Bloody Face ever has the opportunity to meet his mother for the first time since just after birth.

Based on what we see in the first promo for the episode, much of it is going to be told through the lens of none other than Lana Winters, who is looking back on her life in some sort of interview. Not only that, but she also appears to be set to make a stunning admission: she has kept a pretty important secret when it comes to having a child for an extremely long time, and never opted to tell anyone about it.

While this is going on, you can already all but assume that we are going to see much more in the way of storytelling moving forward with Dylan McDermott’s character as he faces off with Lana for the first time. Hopefully at that point we will learn some other valuable and much-desired details, including just how this man came to know that Bloody Face was his father to begin with.
