Remember when it was announced earlier this week that we were going to be meeting the mother of Snow White on an upcoming episode of “Once Upon a Time” season 2? Well, we’ve now found out just who this woman is going to be, and who will be playing her.
In some news that was first reported by TV Guide, former “General Hospital” star Rena Sofer has been cast in the all-important role of the mother during a series of flashbacks that are going to take place during an upcoming March episode of the show. We don’t really know very much about this character at the moment, though it is all but assured at this very moment that she has quite the story to tell. If you remember, Snow White’s father King Leopold eventually ends up marrying the Evil Queen Regina, so this really means that there is going to be no happy ending in sight for the character all.
As previously reported, this woman (who is known as Queen Eva) is going to have an interesting connection to one of the characters on the show other than Snow or Regina, and it may end up being something that surprises you. Unfortunately, we don’t really have any news on this subject at the moment other than that. This is just the latest flashback news that we have received, as there is also going to be an upcoming episode that takes us deeper into who Regina’s mother Cora was and why she is the person that she is today.
For now, let’s just ask the simple question: do you like this casting, and do you think that there is anything that we are going to ultimately end up learning through meeting Snow White’s mom?
