‘Justified’ season 4 spoilers: More than meets the eye for Patton Oswalt
As we wrote about over the weekend, Patton Oswalt is one of the major additions to “Justified” season 4 this weekend, and it looks as though his character, a Harlan County constable, is going to be even more interesting than you would first imagine.
According to a report from Zap2It, Oswalt’s character, who we will first meet during the season premiere Tuesday, is someone whose occupation is really to just hand out legal papers. However, it turns out that there is going to be so much more going on here for the guy than you would initially expect. How much so? The report doesn’t say, and it almost contradicts itself when it comes to the statement that he is tougher than he looks, but not as tough as he thinks he is.
We still wonder just how Oswalt’s character is going to be wrapped into the deeper mystery of the show moving deep into the season, as there are three major storylines that we have pegged as ones to watching moving into Tuesday’s episode:
1. Raylan’s attempts to solve a case that has been three decades in the makings.
2. The continued relationship woes of Raylan when it comes to both Winona and Lindsey the bartender.
3. What is going on with Boyd hiding his money.
We don’t know where Oswalt fits into the story’s puzzle just yet, but considering the man’s considerable talent (and dramatic chops that have slowly and surely risen to the occasion), it is almost sure to be thoroughly entertaining.
