ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 5 spoilers: First details on ‘Death Gone Crazy’
“Castle” season 5 is back on the air Monday night with an episode entitled “Significant Others,” but let’s stop for a moment and take a look at something that is going to be couple up two episodes down the road: “Death Gone Crazy.” This is the episode that you have heard about the features a bodyguard developing an interest in Esposito, and a victim who certainly sounds quite a bit like a fictional version of Joe Francis (hence the title of this episode).
ABC has released the fully synopsis for the episode already, and it sounds as though both Castle and Beckett are going to start to have some very strange discoveries when it comes to the life in which this Francis wannabe lived. In addition to that, it also seems like the young women that were exploited in the making of the “products” that this character sold are going to have an impact on Castle as a dad:
“When Beau Randolf, the founder of hit adult video franchise ‘College Girls Gone Crazy,’ is murdered, Castle and Beckett are confronted with a lengthy list of husbands, fathers and ex-college girls who all have motive. So to find the killer, they must delve deep into the victim’s life, where they find surprises at every turn. Also in the episode, Alexis starts a video blog, but Castle is not happy that personal and intimate details about her life are being made public.”
This episode will surely be interesting, mostly in that this is not a world that has been investigated much on network TV. As for how they are going to work around the more adult aspects of it for a network audience while keeping the world realistic, we have two words for you at the moment: camera angles.
