‘Modern Family’ season 4 spoilers: Guess who’s coming back?
Cam is going to have his hands full moving forward on “Modern Family” season 4, at least when it comes to a character that has not always been his best friend (or even a friend period) over the course of the hit ABC show’s run thus far.
According to a new report from TVLine, Wendy McLendon-Covey is going to be making a return appearance to the hit show later this year as the lesbian rival Pam to Eric Stonestreet’s character, though she will sadly not be joined this time around by the lucky lady in her life, played by Michaela Watkins. Nonetheless, it still sounds like a pretty interesting story for the character this time around, as both Cam and Claire ask for her help on a renovation project.
Here is what McLendon-Covey (who is also appearing in multiple episodes of “Rules of Engagement” season 7 coming up this year) had to say about the story to the website:
“I think Cam has some ideas about the restoration, and he’s fighting [about it] with Claire … We’ll see how my contracting skills are. We’ll see how comfortable I look with a hammer in my hand!”
While “Modern Family” is without question a ratings monster, we like to think that in many ways the gauntlet was thrown recently by the dominance of “The Big Bang Theory” in scoring such massive numbers on Thursday night. Now, Cam and the rest of the gang need to think of some stories creative enough to top it.
