NBC’s ‘Community’ season 4: Who decided to ‘Shake It Up’ this week?
With “Community” season 4 already in the can (though NBC is still sadly depriving us of new episodes until February 7), many of the cast members now have a much freer schedule in order to pursue some other opportunities until the fate of the show for a potential season 5 is announced. Sadly, we’re not going to know an answer to the renewal questions until likely May unless the ratings are magically a home run (which seems unlikely considering “The Big Bang Theory” has become even more dominant in its absence).
So who is stepping out beyond the NBC gates now? It’s none other than Yvette Nicole Brown! We’ve confirmed that the actress, who of course plays the perpetually-happy (except during foosball or when people don’t want to eat her pies) Shirley Bennett, is going to be appearing on an upcoming season 3 episode of the Disney Channel series “Shake It Up” as a psychic.
This is not the first time that Brown has visited the Disney Channel universe, as she previously guest-starred on “That’s So Raven” long before ever joining “Community.” She has also been on two Nickelodeon classics in “iCarly” along with “Drake & Josh,” and it’s really rather outstanding to look at some of the other classic TV shows in which she has made an appearance on, including “Two and a Half Men,” “House,” “That 70’s Show,” “The Office,” “Boston Legal,” and “Malcolm in the Middle.” Now, we’re just happy that she has a classic show of her own in “Community” to call her home.
Are you happy for Yvette? Just in case you missed the Christmas present from the “Community” cast during the holiday season, all you have to do is check out the video here.
