‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 9 spoilers: When will Constance Zimmer first appear?

It’s been a while since there has been anything breaking on the “Grey’s Anatomy” season 9 front, though admittedly much of that is due to a very simple reason: there simply have not been any new episodes of the hit ABC drama series in a while. With that in mind, allow us to at least present some news for those of you curious as to when an upcoming guest star is going to appear for the first time.

As you may know already, former “Entourage” star Constance Zimmer will be turning up as Dr. Cahill, a very confident woman who could end up playing a role in someone’s love life, is going to be around at some point in the near future … and that future is January 24. The actress confirmed in a post on Twitter recently that she will first enter the world of Seattle Grace for the 12th episode of the season, which just so happens to be the one airing on that date.

Of course, there is still plenty else that we need to see unfold before we even get to that time, including the aftermath of Bailey ditching her wedding with Ben in order to help out an ailing Adele Webber, and just what is going to happen moving forward between a pair of other beloved characters in Jackson and April. There are always a dozen stories flowing at one time on this show, and Zimmer is going to have to find a way to work herself in there.
