‘Justified’ season 4 spoilers: New mysteries and an answered question

Want to know a few more details about the upcoming fourth season of “Justified”? Well, we at least have to share for you now the answer to at least one burning question that is floating around out there: whether or not we are going to see Winona give birth to Raylan’s child at some point before the end of season 4.

In a word, the answer is “no.” Executive producer Graham Yost tells TVLine the rather simple answer to this question, though he is also nice enough to confirm that Natalie Zea, who is also going to be rather busy this spring on the new series “The Following,” will turn up for at least a couple of episodes during season 4. As for the rest of the time, we’ve already told you that Raylan’s relationship with the bartender Lindsey is going to evolve, and they will be spending quite a bit of time together (if you catch our drift).

As for the rest of the story, Yost also tells the website that much of the upcoming season will be shaped around a mystery that has been around for a whopping 30 years, and Wynn Duffy could end up playing a pretty important part in making sure that this happens.

Ultimately, there aren’t many shows on TV that go into a new season with the sort of expectations that “Justified” has. The fan base here is enormous, and seasons 2 and 3 remain from this standpoint to be among some of the best this medium has had to offer as of late. Let’s just hope that this new mystery for Raylan, Boyd, and everyone else still manages to deliver.
