‘White Collar’ season 4 winter premiere spoilers: Breaking booze
As promised in some of our recent “White Collar” season 4 scoop, we just had an opportunity to check out the January 22 winter premiere for the USA drama; and with that in mind, who isn’t interested in finding out just a few details about what is coming up?
As we’ve shared in our similar pieces recently for a pair of other USA shows in “Necessary Roughness” and “Suits,” our goal here is to not necessarily tell you everything that is going to happen … or really spoil anything major at all. Think of this instead as just a way to get you a little bit more excited about some of the action coming up.
The first thing to point out here about this episode is that the show wastes no time when it comes to dealing with Neal Caffrey’s daddy issues, and they will play a key role throughout the entire hour. Matt Bomer’s character is going to need the help of his father in order to help get revenge on the Flynn family, but there is a key question he will need to answer in the process: can these people really be trusted? This is going to be something that there will be steps taken to figure out.
In some way, just about every one of our main characters gets involved in an effort to take Flynn down; and as we suggested in the title above, booze is going to be very much involved. Expect to see some pretty great scenes regarding just how skilled Neal is when it comes to the alcohol business, as well as a new cover created for him in the process.
Are you going to get answers into everything during this episode when it comes to either Flynn or Neal’s dad? No, but what we can tell you is that this episode serves as a fantastic launching pad to the rest of the season, and an important hour in determining not just what Neal thinks of his father, but consequently what he thinks about himself.
