‘The Walking Dead’: New parody video goes viral
There is still a while to wait until new episodes of “The Walking Dead” come back to AMC, but that isn’t stopping fans from creating their own “Walking Dead” videos to help pass the time until we can find out what’s going to happen now that the Governor has waged war against Rick and his crew.
A new viral video based on “The Walking Dead” series has popped up on YouTube called “The Walking Dumb (Ways to Die)” and it has everyone talking (and watching). The video features an original song based on what has happened to the characters that have died during seasons 1, 2 and 3. The one thing we really have to give the Rocky Point Haunted House and the Teddie Films team credit for is how fantastic the gore and zombies look. Not only did they get the zombies looking bloody fantastic, they also (for the most part) had actors that looked a lot like the characters from the show (especially that girl playing Lori). Even Norman Reedus loved the video so much that he posted a link to it on his Twitter account.
With all that being said, we weren’t crazy about the dancing zombies – it felt like a weak play at Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” video and with how much effort the crew put into the video, it was a shame to see the dancing zombies, because it took away from the other really funny bits they put together.
We really loved this video and suggest that you take a look at the “The Walking Dumb (Ways to Die)” parody below and tell us what you think. Also be sure to check out our story about AMC’s plan to bring fans the opportunity to watch “The Walking Dead” (all seasons) in black and white.
