‘The X Factor’ USA song spoilers: Finale hints for Tate Stevens, Fifth Harmony
We have the final song spoilers for Wednesday night’s finale for “The X Factor” USA … but sadly, there’s really not that much to read from these based on the clues that some of the contestants are handing out via Twitter. Note to future contestants: give better hints! These are mostly lame.
Nonetheless, we believe that based on these, we are going to be seeing all of the remaining singers do a repeat performance from some point this season. This is something that we saw the singers do last year with audition songs; but since Fifth Harmony all tried out for the show earlier this year as solo artists, that is going to be more or less impossible this year, and we’re more likely to be seeing them try to take on something that is from some other point this season.
Carly Rose Sonenclar – If we had to guess based on the thumbs-up, Carly will be going back to her audition track in “Feeling Good.” It’s a classic song that is familiar to voters, and she should be able to rock it without much of a problem. You may as well chalk up some votes based on this alone.
Tate Stevens – Is he singing “Friday” from Rebecca Black? Okay, probably not. Since this doesn’t really fit with his “Anything Goes” audition track, we’re guessing he is either taking on a new country track, or possibly doing a repeat performance of “If Tomorrow Never Comes” from earlier this season. Considering that all of the singers are destined to be singing at least twice (and probably three times) over the course of the two hours, there are many possibilities.
Fifth Harmony – This looks a ton like their clue for their stellar and recent performance of “Anything Could Happen.” With that in mind, we’re just going to say that they are doing that again, though we would not be opposed to something else that exemplifies the sense of fun and playfulness they are showing off here. After all, this is what separates them from the other acts at the moment.

I will never watch these shows unless this whole going after 5th as adults was a ploy to turn them into underdogs period so they could make it here then slip into the win, but even so it’s a pretty twisted way of throwing everything but the kitchen sink at some girls who want so bad nothing but to spread their joy of singing and friendship. In this day and age don’t we need that more than another child star ruined?
