‘Modern Family’: ‘Married… With Children’ star to appear on upcoming episode

Ed O’Neill’s character of Jay Pritchett may have another baby on the way on “Modern Family”, but that doesn’t mean that TV children from O’Neill’s past aren’t coming back to haunt him.

Before “Modern Family” O’Neill played Al Bundy on “Married… With Children” for 11 seasons, with his wife Peggy Bundy (played by Katey Sagal), his daughter Kelly (Christina Applegate) and son Bud (David Faustino) and while fans of the show have been dying for some sort of reunion, it hasn’t happen… until now. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Faustino is set to guest star on an upcoming episode of “Modern Family”, unfortunately it is said that he will not share any scenes with O’Neill much to the disappointment of fans everywhere.  Faustino is said to begin filming his scenes for the hit ABC comedy on Wednesday, and at this time there is no airdate for this episode.

New episodes of “Modern Family” are currently off the air until the New Year, but it will return to ABC in January, airing on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. Are you excited to see Faustino on “Modern Family” or do you feel it’s a big tease because he won’t have any scenes with O’Neill?
