ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 2, episode 10 preview: What comes next?

Based on the thrilling midseason finale for “Scandal” season 2 on Thursday night, we’re literally on the edge of our seat to find out just what is going to happen next. The problem? Kerry Washington and company are unfortunately going on hiatus until January 10, so we basically are going to have to sit around and stew for much of the next three and a half weeks wondering just what is going to happen next when it comes to Huck. Hey, at least we have the promo below to look at.

Last we saw of the man, he was basically taking the fall for a crime that he did not commit, and he had also just learned that the very person he thought he loved was one of the people behind the crimes to begin with.

The ultimate translation here? This is going to be an incredibly tough thing for him to process, even as Olivia Pope decides to do just about whatever she can to help him despite the incredibly tough situation that she finds herself in now. After all, her relationship with the President was far from just professional, but she is still doing her best to not let her own past with him get in the way of keeping an innocent man safe.

Considering that this show is “Scandal,” after all, you knew that there was going to be another twist thrown in here: it also turns out that the President may not necessarily be dead just yet, and so long as this is his current physical state, he is in even more danger. Is anyone going to act before it’s too late? We will be waiting to see (even if we will be waiting to see for a while).
