‘True Blood’ season 6: What part of production has begun?
Even though “True Blood” season 6 is still a few weeks away from actually beginning over on HBO, there are some aspects of the production process that have begun, including the writing of scripts, the prepping of locations, and of course the all-important fitting by the wardrobe department so that everyone can be in top shape for the new episodes.
As a part of a new interview with The Huffington Post, Kristin Bauer van Straten (who you of course know otherwise by the name of Pam) explained that she had recently started up at least getting some of the crazy (and often leather-inspired) outfits that her vampire character dons while working at the famed var Fangtasia:
“I had my first wardrobe fitting today, which for Pam is such a huge part of my character … And it’s like Christmas for me.”
The actress sadly did not really share much about the story for her character in the interview, but we’re hoping that it will continue along the surprising relationship she developed with Tara this past season, in addition to showing her and some of the other vampire characters doing just about everything that they can in order to stop Bill Compton from unleashing his vampire reign of terror upon the world in his new demigod form.
In reflecting on season 5, meanwhile, Kristin proclaimed that she loved getting the opportunity to find out a little bit more in the way of details on Pam’s past via flashbacks this year, and she also appreciated the fact that the producers were not forced by HBO letting just about everything out of the bag straight out of the gate.
What do you want to see happen with Pam this year?
