‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 6: Why is Jim Parsons working with Rihanna?

Jim ParsonsRihanna has been spending a little bit of time with Jim Parsons lately; however, don’t expect to see the pop superstar joining Dr. Sheldon Cooper on a new episode of “The Big Bang Theory” season 6 in the near future.

Rather, Rihanna wrote in a new post on her Twitter account that she has been in the studio lately recording lines with Parsons for an upcoming animated film entitled “Happy Smedkay,” which focuses on a group of aliens who try to find some sort of escape from their enemies by hiding on earth of all places. We’re sure that this will lead to some sort of contact, and hopefully something that is at least a little bit different than the overdone “alien invasion” story that we have seen on countless films and TV shows over the years.

What is the most interesting aspects of Rihanna’s tweet in some ways is that it shows just how far animation is stretching for talent these days, and how seriously they take the fan followings of musicians and television stars. “The Big Bang Theory” is the most-popular comedy on TV, while Rihanna has racked up more #1 singles than we can count over a music career that still has plenty of life left in it.

This movie is likely still a lengthy stretch of time away from premiering, and luckily “Big Bang Theory” fans don’t have to wait too much longer to see more of Sheldon and the rest of the gang back on TV. A new episode of the comedy series will be airing just after the start of the new year on Thursday, January 3.

Are you glad to see Parsons getting the opportunity to do some other things? If you want to find out some more details about this upcoming episode, you can do so over at the link here.
