‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 4: Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev rule new promo
Thursday night’s new “Vampire Diaries” season 4 episode is the much-anticipated hour entitled “We’ll Always Have Bourbon Street,” and while the new promo released by The CW tells us pretty much nothing about the hour at all, it still should be pretty fun for some diehard fans to watch.
Basically, the message here is a simple one to Elena: “be the vampire.” It features clips of Nina Dobrev’s character alongside Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder), and with that there are plenty of reasons for her fans to squeal with delight. It is at least a current promo in that it features footage of the last several weeks of The CW hit, including some memorable moments that showcase her getting romantic with both of the Salvatore brothers.
So what will Thursday night’s episode contain? We know that there will be flashbacks to the brothers’ days in the 1940s preparing for World War II in New Orleans, and there will also be a story mixed in here all about how the two of them managed to fix their past differences and reconcile after many years of being apart. You will also have a chance mixed in here to witness the relationships that each of the characters had with at least one woman in the past.
As for the present, the story is going to focus mostly on Stefan’s journey to try and figure out not only how to cure both Elena and potentially himself of vampirism, but how to also how to prove to his brother that Elena has become sire-bonded to him, and is acting in some senses without free will.
