NBC’s “Go On” season 1, episode 11 preview: A holiday party gets messy
NBC’s new comedy “Go On” might just be the show that sticks for Matthew Perry after two failed attempts to get a new series off the ground since his time on “Friends” (“Mr Sunshine” and “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip”) – it’s funny, smart and has a fantastic supporting cast that helps create memorable storylines.
On tonight’s new episode called “The World Ain’t Over ‘Til It’s Over” the support group wants to throw a party to celebrate the holidays, but they plan to have the party on the same day that Mr. K thinks the world is going to end creating all kinds of tension for the gang. Ryan goes on his annual holiday getaway to wine country and Anne tags a long for fun. Lauren is going to be anxious (and fearful) that her boyfriend is going to propose to her – will she say yes or is she just not ready for that kind of commitment? It’s also possible that he won’t propose at all and she’s just putting a lot of pressure on herself for nothing.
Coming up on future episodes Ryan will be getting a love interest on the show in the form of Covert Affairs actress Piper Perabo, but if you are hoping that the romance will last, it’s best not to hold your breath as she has only been signed on for a 3 episode arch (you can check out the story about here).
Tonight’s new episode of “Go On” will air tonight at 9 p.m. on NBC – Will you be tuning in?
