This just in: The CW really wants you to vote for some of their actors and shows for the 2012 People’s Choice Awards. How do we know this for sure? They’ve basically released a new promo showing you just all of their programs that are nominated to receive a trophy.
The video below features such prominent people as Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley, Nina Dobrev, and “The Vampire Diaries” as a whole along with such other shows as “Arrow,” “Supernatural,” “Gossip Girl,” and even the now-canceled “Emily Owens M.D.”. While The CW is never a frequent Emmy darling, they do typically fare pretty well at the PCAs. As a matter of fact, both Dobrev and “Supernatural” were overall winners at the show last year, and Nina even made history as the first actress ever to win after being a write-in nominee.
In case you have not voted for your favorites just yet, you can do so over at the link here. The show will air on Wednesday, January 9, and will be hosted for the second time by “The Big Bang Theory” star Kaley Cuoco, who certainly knows a thing or two about being the people’s choice. After all, her show is a favorite to take home many comedy prizes as the highest-rated show on all network TV. Last year, Somerhalder was defeated by another popular primetime actor in Nathan Fillion of “Castle,” so he will have his work cut out for him if he wants to come out on top this time around.
Do you think any of the CW shows will come on top this year, or are “The Vampire Diaries” and “Supernatural” in your mind the only ones with any sort of fighting chance? If you want to actually take a look at what is coming up on season 4 of the vampire drama, be sure to head on over to the link here.
