‘Once Upon a Time’ season 2, episode 9 preview: Familiar territory
In just a matter of hours, “Once Upon a Time” will be back with what will be the final episode of 2012; and based on what we are seeing now courtesy of the newest sneak peek, this could very well end up being the most dramatic episode of them all.
So just what is going to happen? In the latest sneak peek video below, you can see the team of Snow White, Emma, Aurora, and Mulan looking to discover there way out of the fairytale world courtesy of a character who they have come to be familiar with over the past season or so: Rumpelstiltskin. Specifically, they are visiting a cave that he once inhabited when he was being help prisoner at the time that the pilot first took place. What are they doing there? They have obviously been given some sort of clue from the other world, and Aurora is the one who finds a note pressed against one of the walls.
Will we finally see Emma and Mary Margaret’s return to the tiny Maine town? At the moment, it is still unclear given that we could feasibly have an epic cliffhanger that keeps us angry with anticipation over the course of the next month or so. All we do know for sure is that Rumple and Regina are going to be nervous over bringing the pair back out of fear that the likes of Cora will join them. (There’s also Captain Hook, who clearly wants Rumpelstiltskin’s head on a platter.)
