‘The Good Wife’ season 4 spoilers: ‘Gossip Girl’ alum lands new role
Even though “Gossip Girl” will be coming to an end soon after six seasons, one of the most-popular players over the course of the series’ run is not going to stay without any sort of acting job for long … even if this new gig is just a temporary one.
According to a new report via The Huffington Post, Margaret Colin, who you may otherwise know as Blair’s mother Elanor Waldorf on the CW series, confirmed that she has just landed a prestigious new guest-starring gig on “The Good Wife” season 4, where she will be tackling a role that she describes by saying the following:
“I’m currently filming an episode of ‘The Good Wife,’ where I’m back in high heels and shoulder pads playing a lawyer.”
When you are just coming off another show, is there really any better place at all to go than “The Good Wife”? We’re really not sure that there is, given that this has become the mecca of A-list celebrity guest stars over the past several years. Some notable names include the likes of Michael J. Fox, Martha Plimpton, Nathan Lane, Kristin Chenoweth, Maura Tierney, Cristina Ricci, and Matthew Perry. There are also plenty more coming up this year, including many that have yet to even be announced. This is a show that, unlike “Gossip Girl,” actual gets a pretty substantial audience when it comes to viewers, and it also has the rare honor of being one of the few broadcast drama series to be consistently loved by critics.
Are you thrilled for Colin?
