‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ review: Kim moves out, Cynthia gets a nasty message

This week on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” season 5 Kim Zolciak and her husband Kroy Biermann packed to move out of their “haunted” mansion, but Kim seemed to be more concerned about Kendra coming in and vandalizing the place after they were gone, then posting pictures on Twitter saying that Kim left her home in disarray. Kim is upset that Kendra has been posting messages on Twitter saying that Kim isn’t paying her bills.  NeNe Leakes doesn’t believe that Kim wants out of her “dream house”, but that Kim’s credit wouldn’t allow her to buy the house, so she has to move back to her old town house. She feels that Kim isn’t coming clean about it, because she doesn’t want to look bad.

Phaedra Parks and Apollo take their son, Aiden to the barber for his very first hair cut just before his second birthday, but with their son being so nervous about the hair cut, Apollo had to step in and start the hair cut before his barber Rocky could step in. Later Phaedra meets up with her party planner at the Georgia aquarium for her son’s second birthday. The party is a big spectacle and everyone is there except Kim who calls in to say that she can’t make it because of the move. and only has 48 hours to get out of the house.

Kenya brings her man Walter out for dinner to meet her aunt Lori and some of her other family, but is concerned that Lori will be tough on Walter because she feels that no one will ever be good enough for her niece. The dinner starts off well, but Lori quickly starts asking the tough questions about marriage and love and Walter is very honest with his answers, saying that he has been married before and would marry again, but he would have to be in love. Lori really likes Walter because of his old school values and is happy he’s taking his time with Kenya. Later, in private, Kenya tells Walter that she wants a baby “like yesterday” and while she doesn’t want to pressure him, she does have an agenda.

NeNe and Cynthia meet up for a smoothie and NeNe complains about Kim, saying that all she does is make up excuses for everything from why she has to leave a party to her house being haunted and she has to move out. Nene plays a voice mail from Phaedra to Cynthia saying that she doesn’t care whether or not Cynthia’s around for Aiden’s birthday party or not. Cynthia’s upset because she thought that her friendship with Phaedra was cool, but realizes that it’s not what she thought. Cynthia decides to meet up with Phaedra and calls her out on the nasty voice mail, but Phaedra denies it and Cynthia tells her that she heard the message for herself. Phaedra still won’t own up to saying it, saying she doesn’t recall it and when Cynthia offers to play the message, she instead changed the subject.
