‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 4: Some fun with Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev

Let’s face it: thanks to the holiday weekend (which is really all about giving thanks), there’s not too much going on in the world of “The Vampire Diaries” season 4. There was no new episode om Thursday, which also means that we are still in the midst of a massive waiting game for what is going to be coming up with the return of the Miss Mystic Falls Pageant.

So with this in mind, why not have a little bit of fun? It is for this reason that we present the video below, which shows off Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev, and many of the other cast members playing a game of “Shag, Marry, Stake” with TV Guide. This is basically just a vampire-infused version of “ding, marry kill,” but many of the answers to the questions are pretty hilarious from the cast. Steven R. McQueen, for example, seems to be some afraid of scaring off the fandom that he refuses to answer the question (save for staking Damon); meanwhile, Somerhalder says “yes” to shagging and killing all of them; that way, they will never have an awkward encounter with each other at a bar to share their experiences.

In going back into the world of the show, Thursday night’s new episode will feature some more possible romances between Damon and Elena and Klaus and Caroline, even if we have no idea at the moment if there will be any shagging, marrying, or staking involved here. After all, these people are still young and want to take things slow. Let’s just hope that some of the fun that we see in this video is also present on the small screen.
