‘Elementary’ spoilers: Sherlock hunts a new killer, Watson deals with a past love
Fans of the hit CBS show “Elementary” will be disappointed to learn (if you didn’t already know) that because of the Thanksgiving holiday weekend there will be no new episode of the revamped Sherlock Holmes detective series, but regardless we wanted to give fans something to chew on until the show returns next week on Thursday, December 6.
So what can we expect to see on next week’s episode with Holmes and Watson? Well it looks like Holmes will be busy hunting a new killer who targeted a college professor as the victim while Watson will find herself dealing with a former lover who calls her up out of the blue looking for some sort of help – whether that be financially or emotionally, we don’t know yet, but whenever Watson has a man circling around her Holmes is sure to stir up trouble for her.
What many viewers are starting to wonder is just how are they going to keep Watson around in Holmes’ life since her 6 week stay with him as his sober companion has to be almost over. Are the showrunners thinking of developing a love story between the two, regardless of the fact that these two actors have no chemistry whatsoever between them on a romantic front? We’ll have to wait and see.
“Elementary” has been doing so well for CBS that the network recently announced that they will be giving the holy grail of TV time slots (right after the Super Bowl) to the Jonny Lee Miller, Lucy Liu series.
Be sure to tune in on Thursday, December 6th at 10 p.m. on CBS for the next new episode of “Elementary” called “You Do It To Yourself”.

Not sure what show you are watching, but the actors have a huge amount of chemistry between them. It’s the driving force behind the show in my opinion. I doubt there will ever be a love story in the show as the writers have said again and again that they won’t write that in, but the chemistry between both lead actors is definitely there.

Why do you keep saying “Dr. Watson” and “the good doctor”? Joan no longer has a medical license; it was a big plot line in the show that she chose to give it up. But I guess you could say “former doctor Watson.” Or maybe just “Joan” as you choose to use the BBC convention of referring to Holmes as “Sherlock”?
