‘American Horror Story: Asylum’ episode 6 preview: The face of evil
So who is the real hero on “American Horror Story: Asylum”? At this moment this is the real question, mostly since we have some characters who live in a gray area (Sister Jude) whereas some others have just been revealed to be not as kind as we once thought they were (Dr. Thredson, otherwise known now as Bloody Face).
So who do we have to root for next? There’s still a chance that Jude can be redeemed, but it is going to be a tough road ahead for Jessica Lange’s character as our first look at tomorrow’s episode suggests that she is going to be kicked out of her own institution thanks in part to Arden and his new cohort Sister Mary Eunice, who is playing the whole “I’m possessed by the devil” bit far better than Satan’s previous inhabitant did. These two are clearly only going to use Briarcliff to inflict more pain and suffering, so we have a feeling that the road ahead is going to be hard for Jude to keep her own sanity, let alone help or inflict pain upon anyone else.
As for the more clear-cut heroes, they appear to be Kit and Lana, and neither one of them seems to be primed for a good situation anytime soon. In the case of the former, you have a man who is still believed to be Bloody Face, and Thredson’s own recommendation seems to have him destined for the electric chair. As for Lana, she seems to be on the road to death far sooner thanks in part to Thredson locking her up in his gruesome death chamber.
