‘Homeland’ season 2 spoilers: Why is Carrie getting so close to Brody?
“Homeland” season 2 has occasionally come under fire for stretching what is believable for many characters, with the biggest culprit of this out of everyone being Carrie. Why would someone who knows just what Brody is capable of want to get close to him, especially since she has done it before? Really, you can make the argument that this is happening simply due to the fact that she is required to in order to keep him empowered and steadfast in his support of the CIA; however, isn’t she taking it a step further than she needs to at the moment? As it turns out, we are not going to be the only people wondering the answer to this question.
According to a report from BuddyTV, we are going to see Quinn start to question this very thing of Carrie during the episode airing Sunday night, especially since she has already proven to be someone who goes off the book already. The last thing that the agency needs is a compromised mission now, and there is one issue with these two getting close that is clearly on their mind: if Jess finds out what is going on, it’s probably over for them since she will surely want to blow it up.
Sadly, there are only five episodes left in order to figure out just what unfolds from here on out; but it is pretty safe to say at this very moment that regardless, the ramifications for everyone involved are going to be enormous.
