‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 4: Paul Wesley’s latest getup (photo)

We have already checked out a first look at one Ian Somerhalder as a soldier on an upcoming episode of “The Vampire Diaries” season 4; and to go along with it now, we now have a first shot of just how Paul Wesley’s character of Stefan is handling his own duties during World War II.

What does photo show us? Not really that much, but it is from the upcoming eighth episode of the season called “We’ll Always Have Bourbon Street” that will be airing next month. There’s sadly not that much else available here when it comes to details at the moment, but the title certainly seems to be an allusion to some sort of romance that may have happened for some of these characters at that time. But is the title about Stefan or Damon? Considering that we know producers have cast a woman named Charlotte who is one of the latter brother’s former loves, that may be a pretty strong hint. (With that being said, why cast the character now?)

Before we even make it to this episode, we are going to find out much more about the current state of Damon and Stefan’s relationship in the episode “My Brother’s Keeper,” which will be airing a week from Thursday. (The delay is thanks to the Thanksgiving holiday.) After all, there’s bound to be some tension considering that Stefan and Elena broke up when she revealed the extent of her feelings for his brother.

Are you excited for yet another flashback episode, or do these episodes actually irritate you more than most others? We want to hear your thoughts below!
