ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 5 spoilers: Check out a new episode title!

When “Castle” season 5 returns early next year, it will be doing so with an episode based around … booze? Well, that may not be the case, but the title certain is suggestive once you read it aloud.

Technically, episode 12 is going to be the second installment of 2013 following “Death Gone Crazy” (which features Kelly Hu as a bodyguard who develops an interest in Esposito), and SpoilerTV reports that the title here is going to be none other than “Under the Influence.” What is this supposed to really mean? Based on some of the information that we do have, it really does not seem as though we are talking about drinking at all. Instead, the murder victim here is a DJ who goes by the name of Holly Rhodes, and the suspects this week are actually going to be of the same sort of people that we saw previously during the show’s recent “Swan Song” episode … at least when it comes to the fact that they are involved in the music industry.

So what are the difference here? There are quite a few. For one, we are looking at pop music this time around, and the artists reminds us a bit of “Nashville” in that there is a singer who has been around the block for a while, and also one who is an up-and-coming superstar in the world. If nothing else, hopefully it will be another fun mystery to help to get the new year off to a strong start.
